How are Gutter Helmet gutter toppers installed?
Our expert certified installers first clean, seal, check and adjust the alignment of your gutter system, where necessary. Then we custom-fit Gutter Helmet to your home with heavy-gauge, reinforced support brackets. Gutter Helmet panels are individually prepared and secured over your full-sized gutters. Our certified installers mount Gutter Helmet under or over your roof shingles, depending on the construction of your roof. After completion and final inspection, your home and your property are restored to their original condition.
How long will the installation process take?
Generally, the Gutter Helmet team can complete your installation within one day. This can, however, be affected by factors like weather conditions, the current state of your roof and gutter system, the need for special equipment to perform the installation, and any tune-ups or replacements that need to be done.
My existing gutters aren’t in the best shape. How will that affect installation?
If your gutters are in bad shape, Gutter Helmet cannot guarantee that our system will perform as well as represented. Fortunately, we are capable of tuning up or replacing gutters and can evaluate the condition of your gutter, advise you on whether repairs or a new gutter system is needed, and apply the appropriate solution.
Do I need to clean my gutters prior to installation?
No. When the Gutter Helmet of Kansas installers arrive, they’ll first clean out any leaves and debris remaining in your gutters. This gutter cleaning is complimentary, and the last you’ll ever need.

Will Gutter Helmet need to be inspected periodically?
With Gutter Helmet, you never have to clean your gutters again. If service issues arise, you can always contact Gutter Helmet of Kansas and we will be happy to assist. In general, it is always wise to inspect your roof and gutter at least once a year. However, our system is designed to last and is built to withstand the forces of nature. Will the paint on Gutter Helmet crack, chip or peel over time and need repainting?
